20-ton welded assemblies

One part of our operations involves large items made of high strength steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Precision control, including non-destructive testing that guarantees that all welded assemblies are of the highest quality.

Welding approval

Scana Machining is approved in general construction steel with yield point in tension up to Re 700/mm², austenitic manganese steel, heat treatable aluminium alloy in the welding methods 135, 136, 141, 111, 131, 112. All welders are approved according to SS/EN287-1 and -2. Scana Machining welds stainless steel components for example Kamewa waterjets to Rolls-Royce, and also components in aluminium and high strength steel for the defence industry.
