ME-SG steering gear system

The ME-SG Steering Gear system is a module-based integrated system including hydraulic power pack (cylinder machines), starter arrangment, alarm unit and syncronised follow-up or non-follow-up control system.

A high accuracy triple system (main, backup, manual) combined with up to 4 maneouvering stations is an optimal solution for safe maneouvering of the vessel from nearly all positions. Split rudder functions gives the operator another option in special situations.

Most cables are included in the system. Module-built panels and control levers give full flexibility and simplify installation. Electronic remote control systems eliminate hydraulic tubes to the bridge. Commissioning by trained local personnel. All important benefits for reduced installation and commissioning cost.
