Scana Offshore Vestby AS (SOV) is a subsidiary of Scana Industries ASA; a company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Scana Offshore Vestby AS was established in 1953 under the name of Brødrene Johnsen AS based on machining of metallic components. Scana bought the company in 2006.

Amongst SOV's key competences is the ability to understand our client’s requirements and developing suitable solutions into field proven products. Our key strengths include mechanical design and construction, hydraulic and control systems, material technology with emphasis on thermal coating.

The company has invested in modern IT tools such as AutoDesk Inventor, CATIA V5, Ansys etc enabling project management utilising Microsoft Dynamics AX in a fully integrated project handling system from design to final acceptance testing.
