Scana Wikov is the agent to Wikov Industry for the oil and gas market. Scana Wikov supplies gears, gear systems, and sells gears either in standard components or as special solutions.

Scana Wikov was founded in 2006. Scana Offshore Technology and Wikov Industry AS (Czech Republic) each
owns 50 % of the company. Scana Wikov is located at Jørpeland, near Stavanger,
together with Scana MTC and Scana Steel Stavanger.

Market and customers

Scana Wikov works within the petroleum, manufacturing and shipbuilding markets. Our main customers are
Norwegian and international manufacturers of process, ship and drilling equipment. Our major customers are the
large winch manufacturer I.P. Huse and Aker Solutions Pusnes, a large winch manufacturer for anchor handling
and mooring winches. The company has also established customer / supplier relations with several other equipment
manufacturers in Norway.

Products and services

Scana Wikov is a commission agent of gears, gear systems and gear parts for drilling rigs, supply vessels, anchor handling
ships and related ships. In cooperation with Scana Offshore Technology, service and gear maintenance is carried out.

Scana Wikov, in cooperation with Wikov and the company’s customers, develops new types of gear solutions to meet
new demands on anchor handling winches, and for ultra deep waters.

Despite our relatively brief existence, Scana Wikov has been well received in Norway. We are now working actively
internationally, particularly with customers in the USA. We use Scana’s oil and gas offices in Houston to further develop
the market there.

The company is also working with customers to find optimal gear solutions for renewable energy,
both within the wind and tidal power industry.
