Scana Zamech delivers fixed pitch propellers (FPP) for powers from 1000 kW with no upper limit, with propeller diameters up to 11 300 mm.
FP propellers can be produced with any required blade number and weight up to 150 000 kg.
For decades, the Scana Zamech scope of delivery has included fixed pitch propellers. Hydrodynamic knowledge and experience our engineers ensure that all design and quality requirements will be fulfilled.
We supply the finished propeller according to a hydrodynamic design produced by us on the basis of customer specifications and model tests. Propellers can also be delivered based on hydrodynamic designs provided by the customer.
These propellers are manufactured in Ni-Al-Bronze and Mn-Ni-Al-Bronze . Small propellers up to 7 ton areavailable also in stainless steel.
FP propellers are produced according to the specifications of ISO 484, as well according to others where appropriate. We will also fulfill shipyard-specific additional requirements.
Depending on scope of delivery and/or shipyard requirements the following options are available for the hub hole:
hub hole with approx. 0,20 mm scraping allowance for fitting the shaft at the yard;
propeller hole for keyless hydraulic fitting checked by using male gauge;
propeller hole for keyless hydraulic fitting, directly fitted to the original shaft.
Propellers can be supplied as a separate product or as a part of a propulsion package comprising a complete assembly of shafting with stern tube, bearings, seals and nozzles.
