Scana Volda Experience
At the origin of Scana Volda, back in 1913 when the former Volda Mekaniske Verksted was established, our main customer segment was the small fishing vessels along the long coast of Norway. We started by supplying integrated systems of diesel engine and CP-propeller, and the first system was delivered in 1914, a 7hk 4-stroke engine to a local fisherman.

During the last years we have conquered major global players in several prestigious projects. As a natural part of the fishing cluster in the western part of Norway, we gain priceless experience from our surroundings. This knowledge makes us who we are, and our products fitted for reality.
