Health, environment and safety (HES)

The group consists of companies that affect the outer environment through noise and discharges/emissions.
The group is licenced for its activities and the impact on the environment is not regarded as exceeding the discharge
permissions. The group works continually to reduce discharges/emissions, waste to deposits and other negative
environmental impacts. Residue from the production is waste managed and handled according to regulations, in
addition to being recycled when applicable. The companies within the steel business area buys large quantities of scrap
for remelting, and is thereby also in the recycling industry.
