Scana Zamech manufactures controllable pitch propellers (CPP) in the power range up to 22,000 kW, with propeller diameters up to 7500 mm. The design of the propeller guarantees maximum efficiency with minimum vibrations and noise levels.
Blade design is tailored individually for each vessel based on modern hydro-dynamical theory, model tests at hydrodynamic institutes and long manufacturing experience.
The design of the CP propeller is based on Scana's well-known experience of propeller design (several thousand models). Each propeller is custom designed to deliver maximum performance. Advanced calculation methods allow the controllable-pitch propeller systems to be optimally adapted to the vessel’s hull form, thereby maximizing efficiency and minimizing noise generation.
The Scana CPP power range starts at 400 kW and goes up to 22,000 kW, with corresponding hub diameters from 0,36 m to 1,9 m. As the standard version the four-bladed propellers are available.
Scana Zamech supplies the complete package including the CP propeller, shaftline, hydraulic system and remote control system.
