Hydraulic unit for hire

We presently have a hydraulic power unit (HPU, 380l/min at 350 bars) for hire. The unit is built into a 20-foot container with external interface. See below for description and specifications.

Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) consists of the following:

• Closed loop Variable axial piston pumps
• Diesel engine
• Pressure filter
• Return filter tank top mounted
• Pressure gauge / Transmitter
• Level-gauges on tank
• Level-transmitter on tank
• Filter indicators electrical
• Oil reservoir
• Diesel reservoir
• Electrical control cabinet
• Electrical control box with control panel

The power unit is built on a steel skid with drip tray. It is fitted with one main variable axial piston pump. The pump is mounted directly on the diesel engine outlet. The diesel engine is mounted on the skid by means of vibration dampers. The pump is connected with rubber hoses. The pump is working in an open loop circuit. The pump is sucking oil from the oil reservoir and the oil is returning through the oil cooler and filters and into the return compartment in the tank.

The Hydraulic power unit is designed for maintenance of all main components with special attention paid to redundancy and minimum oil spill.

All maintenance units, such as hydraulic oil filter, level transmitter, temp transmitter and air breather can be replaced or inspected/tested without emptying the oil tank. One drain valve is installed at the bottom of the tank. Oil filling is done through the return filter. All electric instruments are cabled to one common electrical control box.
