Forged products
The forge, one of the main departments at Scana Steel Stavanger AS, accounts for a large share of the company’s production range. The forge turns stainless steel and high-alloy grade steel into products such as shafts, components for the marine industry, turbine and generator shafts for the energy sector, valves and anchoring components for the offshore industry, shafts for paper machines and steel works and valve spindles for larger diesel engines.
