The group's parent company, Scana Industrier ASA, is a Norwegian company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. This means the company is subject to Norwegian legislation, which establishes minimum standards regarding principles relating to ownership management and corporate governance. The company's owners are primarily institutional investors, smaller investors and some key owners who are members of the board and involved in group management.

Scana Industrier ASA has only one class of shares, where each share grants one voting right at the annual general meeting. The nominal value of each share is NOK 1.25.

Scana aims to ensure that the stock market at all times has correct information on the group's activities and financial status in order to help ensure the most accurate pricing possible. The group attempts to meet this objective through distribution of its annual and interim reports, in addition to publishing relevant information in the form of stock exchange notices and press releases.
